Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The 10th National Furniture Fair 2011 will begin at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital Dhaka on Thursday with an emphasis on informing the general people about the qualities and characteristics of locally made furniture and promoting the products to the foreign buyers.
Commerce Minister Faruk Khan MP will inaugurate the six-day show, organised jointly by Bangladesh Furniture Industry Proprietor's Committee and Design and Technology Centre. President of Bangladesh Furniture Industry Proprietor's Committee KM Akhtaruzzaman will preside over the inaugural ceremony, the organizers said.
With attractive discounts, 88 furniture companies of the country will participate at the fair, which will be opened to visitors from 9am to 9pm (local time) everyday.
