11 AC buses burned down in Savar

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- At least 11 CNG-run AC buses of Trans Millennium Company Limited were burned down in Savar on Friday morning.

The fire broke out in a bus at about 6:30 am (local time) and soon burned down 10 other buses, out of 23, kept at Anadapur bus depot, according to reports.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.

On information, fire fighting units from Savar and DEPZ rushed to the spot and doused the flame with the help of local people after a two and half hours of frantic efforts.
