11 killed in Bangladesh road crash

Narsingdi, Bangladesh (BBN) - At least eleven people were killed when a bus collided head-on with a microbus in Narsingdi, a central district of Bangladesh on Sunday morning.
The accident took place around 8:45am when a bus head-hit the microbus in Belabo upazila of Narsingdi leaving 11 passengers dead on the spot, the police said.Almost all of the passenger who died, most of them of were microbus.
On information police rushed to the incident and recovered the bodies.
Three others injured were taken to the hospital, the police added.
However the identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Earlier at least 13 people were killed and 20 others were injured as a bus and a covered-van collided head-on and simultaneously caught fire on Dhaka-Khulna highway at Gazaria of Nagarkanda in Faridpur on Friday night.
