11-member delegation heads to Germany

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – An 11-member delegation led by Chief Whip M Abdus shahid left Dhaka on Sunday for Germany on a four-day visit.

The delegation will visit different coal-based power plants and coal mines in Berlin and Colon cities, and have talks with German energy minister, an official press statement said.

Other members of the delegation are chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry Maj Gen (retd) Subid Ali Bhuiyan, Advocate Abdul Matin Khasru MP, Omar Faruq Chowdhury MP, Abdullah Al Islam Jacob MP, Abdul Qader Khan MP, Power and Energy secretary Mejbah Uddin, managing director of Barapukuria Coal Mining Company Kamruzzaman and five other officials.
