12 killed in India bus crash

Bareilly, India (BBN)-Twelve people were killed and 20 others injured on Wednesday when a bus fell into the ditch near Uchasiya village in Bareilly district of India.

The bus carrying about 96 passengers was going from Bahraich to Delhi when the accident took place on National Highway 24, police said.

The injured were rushed to a hospital where 12 died during treatment while the condition of 10 others was stated to be serious, reports The Times of India.
