Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The 143rd birth anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi commonly known as Mahatma Gandhi will be observed on Tuesday.
The United Nations (UN) declared October 2 as International Day of Non-Violence (Ahinsa Dibash)
Different organizations of Bangladesh have taken elaborate programs to observe the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Ahinsa Dibash.
Gandhi Ashram Trust will arrange a seminar titled "Ideology of Gandhi and Contemporary World" in the auditorium of CIRDAP in the capital Dhaka.
Law Minister Barrister Shafique Ahmed will attend the seminar as the chief guest while Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pankaj Saran attended it as the special guest.
