Bangladesh Bank withdraws BDT98.20bn from market

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The Bangladesh Bank (BB) withdrew BDT 98.20 billion through reverse REPO auction on Sunday to keep the country’s money market stable, officials said.

Fifteen bids of one-day tenor amounting total of BDT 98.20 billion were received and all the bids were accepted.

The rate of interest of reverse repo was 5.25 percent.
