2 Bangladeshis killed in Tuesday’s Libya clashes

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Two Bangladeshi nationals were killed and another was injured when they caught in clashes between the rebels and the government forces in Tripoli of Libya on Tuesday.

The deceased are: Jahangir Manir of Narsingdi and Milon of Jessore, confirmed Bangladesh Embassy officials after visiting hospital in Tripoli.
Their dead bodies will be brought to Bangladesh as soon as possible, said a press statement of the foreign ministry in Bangladesh.
In a similar incident in Benghazi on July 30, two other Bangladeshis were killed.
Benghazi is around eleven hundred kilometers east of Tripoli and presently there is no air connectivity between the two cities.
Because of the difficulties in communication, their names and other particulars could not yet be obtained.
At present, more than 45,000 Bangladeshis are working in various sectors of Libya.
