Bagherhat, Bangladesh (BBN)-Peregrine Adventures is offering 25 per cent off the October 29 departure of its 12-day Bangladesh trip.

Spend the first couple of days in Dhaka including a cruise on the Shitalakshya River, reports The Herald.

Explore Old Dhaka on rickshaw with an overnight sleep on a ferry before several days in Sundarbans National Park to see the World Heritage listed Shait Gumbad Mosque in Bagerhat and search for Bengal tigers swimming among the mangroves.

Day eight fly to Sylhet in the north eastern corner of the country, where Bangladesh's tea industry is centred and where you will hike and sample local delicacies.

The trip costs $2362 a person, a saving of $788, including accommodation, some meals and arrival transfer.
