Los Angeles, US (BBN)-The 19-year-old actor, who will be making his debut as the webslinger with Captain America: Civil War, said working with such a “fantastic” cast was a dream come true.
“As a kid, I dressed up as Spider-Man every day for a year and so playing this character is a dream come true, reports the PTI.
“Also, to play a character like this amongst such a fantastic cast is such an honour. To have been given this privilege by Marvel, Sony, and the Russo’s, I couldn’t be more grateful. I just want to do everything in my power to make the best movies possible,” Holland said.
The actor, at 19, is also the youngest member of the Civil War cast list and he was nervous when he stepped onto the set for the first time.
“It was definitely very daunting to start off with. My first day on set I was being walked through the set by a runner and he walked me into this green room to all of the Avengers in all of their get-up. It was pretty terrifying.
“But they are so nice and down to earth. I had met Robert and Chris before and they welcomed me and introduced me to the rest of the cast. I was in good hands,” he said.
