3 killed as train rams bus in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-At least three people were killed and several injured when a train rammed into a passenger bus in Titipara near Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka Tuesday night.

The accident occurred around 10:15pm when a Dhaka-bound train from Narayanganj hit a bus coming from opposite direction at Titipara Railway Crossing, barely half a kilometer away from Kamalapur Railway Station. 

Kamrul Ahsun, deputy inspector general of railway police, confirmed the accident.

The injured were whisked off to nearby hospitals for treatment.
