3 killed in Bangladesh lightning strike

Rangamati, Bangladesh (BBN)-Three people were killed and several injured when lightning strike them in Barkal upazila of Rangamati, a south-eastern hilly district of Bangladesh, Sunday.

All the deceased are indigenous people.

A thunderbolt struck the trio while they were working on a paddy field along with nearly 20 people at Begenachhari in the upazila around noon.

The injured were undergoing treatment at Barkal Upazila Health Complex.
