3 killed in Sylhet stadium wall collapse

Sylhet, Bangladesh (BBN)-Three persons, including two siblings, were killed when a wall of Sylhet International Cricket Stadium collapsed on their house early Tuesday.

A wall of the stadium crushed down on an adjacent house of Labour Colony at Lakkatuna tea garden around 2:30am due to incessant rainfall, locals said.

The three victims were asleep in their houses, when the incident took place, they added.

Later, members of Fire Service and Civil Defence along with locals managed to recover the bodies of the victims.
