3 power companies of Summit Group awarded

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Three power companies of Summit Group have obtained three top order at the ICMAB Best Corporate Award-2014 in power sector.
The Institute of Cost & Management Accounts of Bangladesh (ICMAB) selected the companies for the award, said a press release of the group Tuesday.
Summit Power Ltd, Summit Purbanchol Power Co Ltd and Khulna Power Company Ltd have become first, second and third respectively for their contribution in the sector, the statement added.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith is scheduled to handover the award at Pan-Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka at 6:30pm.
Muhammed Aziz Khan, the chairman of the three companies, is expected to receive the awards.
Last year, the Summit Power Ltd bagged the first prize in the ICMAB Best Corporate Award-2013 in the same sector.
