Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The final result of 30th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination was published on Wednesday.
Public Service Commission (PSC) recommended 2,367 candidates out of 5810 to be appointed in different cadres of the government.
The PSC is currently unable to recommend all candidates for jobs who successfully passed the 30th BCS examinations due to shortage of vacancies in the cadre services.
A total of 5,810 candidates came out successful in the third phase of the three- phase competitive examinations on the basis of the written examinations and viva voce.
The rest of the candidates will be appointed as class 1 officers (non-cadre) on basis of the special appointment circular issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on May 10, 2010.
Some 8,640 candidates faced the viva voce from June 20, 2011 to September 21, 2011 out of 9,059.
The total number of examinees in the 30th BCS examinations was 1,47,395, of them, 9,059 came out successful in the preliminary and written tests.
