Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The results of the 30th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examinations were published on Tuesday.
A total 14,470 candidates passed the examinations and the result of 10 candidates has been withheld due to errors, the Public Service Commission (PSC) said, adding that the written tests will be held in December 2010.
A total 147,988 candidates appeared in the 30th BCS preliminary test at six divisional headquarters on July 30 this year against some 2,572 posts under three cadres.
Of the cadres, 831 are generals, 1685 are professionals and 56 are based on subjects.
