Govt. employees to get Eid bonus as per new pay scale

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The public servants will get bonus on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of the Muslim, as per new pay scale, officials said.

The finance ministry issued a notification in this connection on Wednesday.

“A long awaited expectation of the government officials and staff is going to be fulfilled as a result of this notification,” an official explained.

He also said Finance Division has already allocated BDT 23 billion for payment of the Eid-ul-Fitr bonus.
