Rangpur, Bangladesh (BBN)– The import and export activities will remain suspended for five days from Tuesday through Hili Land Port (HLP) at Hakimpur upazila in Dinajpur district on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The Clearing and Forwarding Agents Association (C&FAA) at the port, all sorts of foreign trade activity between Bangladesh and India will remain suspended from July 5 to 9 during the Eid vacation.
The exports, imports, customs clearance, loading and unloading of the goods will resume through the land port from July 10, according to Abdur Rahman Litan, general secretary of C&FAA of the country’s northern land port.
However, movement of passport-visa holder citizens will remain normal through the Immigration Check Post (ICP) there during the period, officials said.
