Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The Public Service Commission (PSC) has decided to begin the written test of the 31st Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations from September 26 this year, officials said.

The decision was taken at a PSC meeting held at its office in the capital Dhaka on Tuesday.

Around 163,500 candidates took part in the preliminary examinations on May 27. Of them, 10,212 candidates have qualified for the written tests as the results published on June 22.

On January 26 last, the PSC published advertisement on the 31st BCS exams against the 2,108 vacant posts of general and technical or professional cadres.
