Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The Bangladesh Public Service Commission on Thursday published the written test results of the 32nd (Special) Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations with a total of 2,788 candidates coming out successful.
The BPSC has published the results provisionally and it has the right to modify the published results if the results require any modification, said a press release in its website. The results are available on www.bpsc.gov.bd.
The viva-voce of the candidates is likely to be held on October 31 or its closest time, it added.
Around 24,556 applicants sat for the first-round exams at 18 centers across the country on March 9, vying for 1,489 vacant posts of various cadres and a total of 10,808 candidates qualified for the written test.
The written test was conducted from June 11 to June 19 this year.
The BPSC published the circular of the examination for freedom fighters’ dependents, women and indigenous people on October 12 last year.
Through this special BCS examination, 1,158 will be appointed from freedom-fighters’ quota, 130 from women’s quota and 201 from indigenous quota.
