Naushad Ali Chowdhury joins IBB as Secretary General

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Mohammad Naushad Ali Chowdhury has joined the Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh (IBB) as a Secretary General on March 16 last.
He was the Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank (BB) and on post retirement leave, according to a statement.
In his long career in the central bank of Bangladesh, he worked in different departments including Bank Supervision, Foreign Exchange Policy Departments, Financial Stability Department, Sustainable Finance Department and Internal Audit Department.
He was also the Deputy Head of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU).
Mr. Chowdhury was the Director of the Karmasangsthan Bank.
