4 killed in Bangladesh road crash

Comilla, Bangladesh (BBN)-A psychiatrist and three members of his family were killed and two others injured in a collision between a bus and a private car in Comilla, an eastern district of Bangladesh Tuesday morning.
The accident took place around 2:00am when the Dhaka-bound car from Comilla collided with the Chittagong-bound ‘Unique-Paribahan’ bus and plunged into a roadside ditch, leaving Dr Fazlul Bari Chowdhury and three others of his family dead on the spot and two others injured in Tamta area of Daudkandi upazila in Comilla, the police said.
The deceased were identified as Dr Fazlul Bari Chowdhury, associate professor of National Mental Health Institute,45, his wife, 35, daughter,7, and their domestic help,13--all hailing from Bogra Sadar upazila, the police added.
The injured were Fazlul’s another daughter, 5, and son,3, who were admitted to Gouripur upazila health complex.
On information, police rushed to the incident and recovered the bodies.
