Bogra, Bangladesh (BBN)-Four people were killed and 14 injured in a collision between a bus and a truck in Bogra, a northern district of Bangladesh, early Monday.
All the victims were returning to home in Thakurgaon, another northern district of the country, in a bus attending Bishwa Ijtema, the second largest congregation of the Muslims after Hajj, media reports said quoting police.
The accident occurred around 2:00am at the roundabout of Shahjahanpur, on the outskirts of the Bogra town, the police added.
Of the victims, one died on the spot while three more succumbed to their injuries on way to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital.
On information, police rushed to the spot, recovered the injured and sent them to the hospital.
