4 of a family burnt to death in Bangladesh

Gopalganj, Bangladesh (BBN)-A woman and her three grandchildren were burned to death as her son-in-law allegedly set her house on fire in Gopalganj, a southern district of Bangladesh, Saturday night.

The woman who was identified as Furiya Begum of Dumudia village was sleeping with her grandchildren when her son-in-law allegedly set the house ablaze by pouring petrol and locked the door from outside around 11:00pm, police and locals said.

Local people rushed to the house of Furiya when they came to know about the fire and managed to recover the victims.

Three victims died on the spot while another succumbed to her injuries at Gopalganj Sadar Hospital.  

Police started drive to arrest the criminal who allegedly set the fire.
