4 of a family die eating puffer fish in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Four members of a family have died after eating puffer fish in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

Victims were aged from 10 to 22.
The deaths took place in Dholaipar area of Dhaka on Monday and Tuesday.
Locals said Farida Akhter, a mother of three and also a resident of Dholaipar area under Kotwali Police Station, bought some puffer fish from a local fish vendor and cooked those on Monday.
All the six of the family—Farida, her three kids and her two brothers—fell sick after eating the fish curry at supper.
Locals took six members of the family to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctor declared two kids of Farida and one of her brothers dead.
Later, Farida’s another brother also died at the hospital on Tuesday.
Farida and her eight-year-old daughter are now out of danger, doctors said.
