Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Five members of a family sustained burn injuries when a fire raged through a house in Kafrul of Dhaka on Monday.
The victims, a couple and their three children, were asleep when the fire broke out.
The fire originated at a tin-shed house of South Ibrahimpur after an explosion supposedly occurred following a short circuit around 2:30am, police suspected.
Five members of the family sustained burn injuries in the fire and they have been undergoing treatment at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
