7 killed in Bangladesh road crash

Mymensingh, Bangladesh (BBN)-At least seven people were killed and several injured in a road accident on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Mymensingh, a central district of Bangladesh early morning on Saturday.
The accident took place around 5:45am, when a Dhaka-bound bus from Netrakona fell into a roadside ditch after colliding with a truck in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh, police said.
Two passengers died on the spot while the injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College and five of them succumbed, police added.
However, the identities of the deceased could not be identified.
The driver and his helper managed to escape immediately after the accident.
