Rajshahi, Bangladesh (BBN)-At least seven people were killed and thirty injured in a head-on collision between two buses on the Dhaka-Rajshahi highway in Rajshahi, a northern district of Bangladesh this afternoon.
The accident took place around 1:30 pm when a Dhaka-bound bus from the city collided head-on with another bus, leaving three people dead on the spot at Chouddapai under Motihar police station of Rajshahi city, the police said.
Four of the injured died on the way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital while the rest got admitted to the hospital.
The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained yet.
The injured were taken to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
