Rajshahi, Bangladesh (BBN)-At least seven people including two children and two women were killed when a truck rammed a locally made vehicle in Rajshahi, a northern division of Bangladesh, Tuesday afternoon.
Enraged by the deaths, locals seized the truck and torched it immediately after the accident, local police said.
The accident occurred around 5:10pm in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi when a sand-laden truck smashed into a battery-run three-wheeler coming from opposite direction, police added.
A total of seven passengers of the battery-run local vehicle including its driver died on the spot.
