7 killed in Bangladesh road crash

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)-At least seven people were killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Chittagong,  south-eastern district of Bangladesh, Monday morning.
The accident took place at Mirsharai at Mirsharai upazila at Sonapahar area when a truck loaded with rice lost control and fell into a ditch, police said.
Seven people, who were travelling fell as the vehicle of the driver lost his control over the steering, left seven of the spot, police added.
On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
However the identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The driver and his helper managed to escape immediately after the accident.
