Sirajganj, Bangladesh (BBN)-At least seven people were killed and three injured when an oil tracker rammed a human hauler in Sirajganj, a northern district of Bangladesh this morning.
The accident took place around 6.15 when a Baghabari-bound oil taker rammed into a human hauler coming from opposite direction in Garadah area on the Bogra-Nagarbari Highway in Shahjadpur upazila leaving five people dead on the spot, the police said, reports UNB.
Of the five injured, two died on way to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital while three others were admitted to the hospital, the police added.
However, the driver managed to flee away after the accident.
