7 killed in Bangladesh road crash

Jessore, Bangladesh (BBN)-At least seven people including a woman were killed in a road accident on Jessore-Khulna Highway in Abhaynagar upazila of Jessore, a southwestern district of Bangladesh, Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred when a jute-laden truck collided head-on with a three-wheeler auto rickshaw coming from opposite direction in front of Rajghat Jute Mill around 9:00am, police said.

Five passengers of the auto rickshaw died on the spot while five others were injured.

The injured were sent to Abhaynagar Upazila Health Complex where two others succumbed to their injuries.
