Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The central bank of Bangladesh on Sunday revived its four-member standing committee to deal with alleged irregularities of chief executive officers (CEOs) of all commercial banks, officials said
The committee, headed by Nazneen Sultana, deputy governor of the Bangladesh Bank (BB) will submit its recommendations to the governor for action against any top executives of the banks after hearing the allegations.
The other members of the body are BB executive directors M Ahsan Ullah, Ahmed Jamal and Nasiruzzaman, general manager of the Banking Regulation and Policy Department (BRPD). The fourth member will act as member secretary of the committee.
