Bangladesh’s heat wave to continue

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The heat wave which is sweeping over the country including the capital, Dhaka, may continue for next several days.

The prevailing sizzling heat will not subside without rain and there is little chance of rain throughout the month, said sources of Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

The country is experiencing nearly seven degrees more temperature than the last week, the sources said.

Dhaka city dwellers experienced 37.4°C temperature at 12noon on Monday, the met office sources said.  

The worst sufferer regions are Rangamati, Khulna, Kushtia and Khepupara.
