4-lane Joydevpur-Mymensingh highway work to begin in March

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Communications Minister Obaidul Quader has expressed hope that the construction of 4 lane Joydevpur-Mymensingh highway would begin in March next year.

He said this while inaugurating two bridges over the river Khiru at Bhaluka and Trishal on Saturday.

The minister directed the project implementing officials to expedite construction of the Mawna flyover with a view to completing the sub-project by March 2015 and pave way for constructing of the actual highway by March 2015.

Meanwhile, the army is expeditiously working towards completion of Phase 1 and 2 of Joydevpur-Mymensingh highway.
