Bangladesh’s stocks open positive

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed upward trend in early hours of trading on Tuesday, after a week-long downtrurn.
 

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE went up by 18.74 points or 0.42 per cent to stand at 4,383.01 points after first 30 minutes of trade when the report was filled at 11am.
 

DSE turnover value stands at BDT 260 million when the report was filed at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 133 advanced, 26 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
 

The port city bourse –the CSE also saw positive trend at opening with its Selective Category Index – CSCX gained 35.80 points to stand at 8,448.38 points, also at 11am.
 

Of the issues traded till then, 43 gained, 6 declined and 5 remained unchanged.
