New Delhi, India (BBN)- India confirmed 103 more cases of the deadly Influenza A (H1N1) virus on Sunday, putting the total number of cases in the country to 2,772, the health ministry officials said.

Of the 103 new cases testing positive for swine flu, 24 came from Karnataka, 13 from New Delhi, 14 from Kerala, 15 from Gujarat, 20 from Maharashtra, eight from Andhra Pradesh, two from Haryana, five from West Bangal, one each from Rajasthan and Meghalaya, according to a health ministry press statement.

According to the health ministry statistics, 14,777 people have been tested and 2,772 tested positive for Influenza A (H1N1). 849 out of the 14,777 tested were identified through entry screening, 1,981 people through contact tracing and the rest were self reported, the ministry said.
