Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has introduced Shariah compliant credit card ‘Khidmah’ for its customers.
M Abul Quasem, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, unveiled the card as the chief guest at a local hotel on Tuesday. Presided over by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of IBBL, Dashgupta Asim Kumar, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, was present at the function as a special guest.
Mohammad Abul Bashar, M Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, FCA, Rafi Ahmed Begh, M Nurul Islam Khalifa, Deputy Managing Directors of the IBBL, and Ritesh Doushi, representative of Electra Card System, along with high executives of the bank were present on the occasion.
The IBBL has introduced the credit card with a view to providing investment facilities, fulfilling daily needs and enriching living standard to the limited income people. This card holder will be facilitated to purchase from all VISA bearing outlets, utility bill payment and e-ticketing.
