Bangladesh EPZ workers can form trade unions

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Bangladesh cabinet Monday in principle approved the draft of a labour law for export processing zones (EPZs) workers keeping provision of the right to form trade union.

'Bangladesh EPZ Labour Act-2014' got the go ahead at a regular meeting of cabinet held at Bangladesh Secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

Cabinet Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan informed reporters about the approval after the meeting at the secretariat.
