Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - All scheduled banks will keep open their readymade garment (RMG)-related branches on Saturday (July 26) for the convenience of payment of salaries, Eid bonus and other allowances to the workers.
Bangladesh Bank (BB) in response to the request of BGMEA has suggested that scheduled banks keep open their branches in the capital, Ashulia, Tongi, Gazipur, Savar, Narayanganj and Chittagong ensuring sufficient security, the central bank said on Thursday.
