Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Education Ministry is going to introduce SMS and online systems in honours first year admission process of different universities from 2009-10 academic session to remove the hassle being faced by admission seekers.
The ministry has already directed the authorities of the universities to take necessary steps in this regard, an official press statement said in Dhaka on Friday.
Under the new system, distribution and submission of admission forms, collection of admission fees, seat arrangement and publication of the admission test results will be done online.
Initially, 31 public universities will come under the new system.
