Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The state-owned Rupali Bank Limited (RBL) officials came under attack by unionists on Sunder over the scheduled election to the officers’ association, witnesses said.
The bank management formed a three-member committee to probe the incident.
“We’re now working on the issue,” a committee member told BBN in Dhaka.
Some trade-union activists allegedly assaulted members of the officers’ association after the two sides exchanged hot words on Sunday morning, leaving at least seven injured, according to reports.
