Wellington, New Zealand (BBN)-Mighty Sri Lanka defeated England by 9 wickets in the 22nd match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in Wellington on Sunday.

HDRL Thirimanne’s personal 139 post and KC Sangakkara’s 117 score propelling Sri Lanka towards the victory in their Pool A match.
Sri Lanka touched 310 total set by England losing only one wickets in 47.2 overs.
Thirimanne and Sangakkara remained unbeaten at the crease.
Earlier, England piled 309 losing 6 six wickets in 50 overs.
