Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)-At least four people, including a woman, were killed and 11 injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck on Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in Chittagong, the port city of Bangladesh, early Friday.
The accident occurred around 6:15am when a Chittagong-bound bus from Dhaka collided head-on with a tuck coming from the opposite direction in Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong, leaving drivers of both the vehicles and a woman passenger killed on the spot, locals said.
Another injured succumbed to his injuries on the way to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
Eleven people also sustained injuries, they added.
The injured have been admitted at Chittagong Medical College Hospital and Sitakunda Upazila Health Complex.
