Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The Bangladesh Bank provided BDT 54.29 billion through assured liquidity support to the banks on Tuesday, officials said.
Twenty seven primary dealer (PD) and non-PD banks of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 54.2916 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility.
The rate of interest of the Liquidity Support Facility was 7.25 percent, the central bank said.
