New office timing for Ramadan

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The government office timing from 9:00 am to 3-30 pm for the month of holy Ramadan, officials said on Thursday. 
The decision was taken at the cabinet meeting on Thursday with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair. 
All government, semi-government, autonomous, and semi-autonomous  offices will function from 9 am to 3:30 pm during the Ramadan with 15 minutes break for Zohr prayer from 1-15 pm.
Commercial banks, insurance companies, other financial institutions, post office, railways, hospitals, nationalized industries, and essential services would fix their own office timing as per their rules.
Supreme Court and other courts under its jurisdiction would fix their office time by the Supreme Court, they added.
