Bangladesh-India jointly to invest $8.872 million in Mongla EPZ

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- M/s Pace Tobacco Industries (BD) Limited, a Bangladesh-India company, will set up a Tobacco Manufacturing company in the Mongla Export Processing Zone (MEPZ). 
The jointly owned company will invest US$8.872 million in setting up their unit and manufacture Tobacco, officials said.
To this effect, an agreement was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and M/s Pace Tobacco Industries (BD) Limited in BEPZA complex in the capital Dhaka on Wednesday.
Md Moyjuddin Ahmed, member (investment promotion) of BEPZA and Viney Mehra, executive director of M/s Pace Tobacco Industries (BD) Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
