Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Bangladesh Open University (BOU) on Wednesday published first and second year results of its Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations held in 2009.
A total of 95,953 students appeared in the first and second year final examinations, of which 44,832 students appeared in final examinations. The pass rate was 57.5 percent, a BOU press statement said.
Among the successful students of the second year, one got grade GPA ‘A+’ and 101 got ‘A’. The total number of successful students is 25,798. Among the successful students, 12,618 are male with a pass rate of 55.3 percent, and 13,183 are female with a pass rate of 59.86 percent.
