Turkish Company to invest in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- A Turkish Company will set up a accessories manufacturing industries in the Adamjee Export Processing Zone (AEPZ) of Bangladesh, officials said.

The company, M/s. Beka Garments Textile Limited, will invest US$ 3.105 million in setting up their unit and will produce garments items.

It will also create employment opportunity for 747 persons, including 10 foreign nationals.

An agreement to this effect was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and M/s Beka in BAPZA complex in the capital Dhaka on Sunday.

Mohammmad Moyjuddine Ahmed, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Vefa Shin, Managing Director of M/s Beka, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
