Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Uttara Bank Limited enhanced the authorized capital from BDT 3.20 billion to BDT 5.0 billion in its Extra Ordinary General Meeting held at the Bashundhara Convention Center in Dhaka on Thursday.
The shareholder also unanimously decided to change the denomination of shares of the bank from the existing BDT 100 each to BDT 10 each and to change the size of market lot from 5 shares to 25 shares.
Azharul Islam, Chairman of the board of directors of the bank presided over the meeting. Iftekharul Islam, Vice Chairman of the board of directors, Shamsuddin Ahmed, Managing Director of the bank and other directors attended.
